David Adedeji Adeleke, known popularly as Davido, is a Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born on November 21, 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, to Adedeji Adeleke, a Nigerian billionaire businessman, and Vero Adeleke, a university lecturer. Davido grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, and later moved to the United States to study business administration at Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama.
